Yummy fabric

I haven't done anything really crafty lately, (except starting to make a basket) but I did want to share the pretty fabrics I got on Sat. It only came to $6.30 for these two yards of fabric. Which is pretty good! I'm going to sheep & wool on Sat. Which I am pretty excited about. Hoping to come home with an armful of gorgeous yarn!

Stripey bag

I wanted to sew something small, so I made a bag for my little sister. Her only requests were that it should be medium size and have bright colors.

Using up scraps

These are little wristlets I made. (Not sure if thats the right word, but it seemed to fit) I wanted to use up some of the little scraps I had left over from my quit, so these were born! The one below is my favorite. I've worn it so much already that its starting to look a little tired.

Don't ask me what the letters stand for. They were from fabric tags and I thought they would look cool.

Yes, another journal

I re-did this one last week for my little sister. I like the last one I did better. The only thing I like about the front of this one is it has Willoughby and Marianne on it.
If you don't know to what I am referring to, read "Sense & Sensibility"

Journal make-over

I mentioned to a friend of mine that I like to redo journals, so she brought me one to redo. It's just a regular mead notebook that I stripped and covered with paper. I also covered it with the sticky protective stuff.

I must say that ring notebooks are easier to redo than notebooks with a sewn binding.
