Sherlock Embroidery

 I had a Sherlock Embroidery idea come to me last week, so I sketched out a design and transferred it to  fabric.

Vintage Hexagon Quilt

 

    I love hexagon quilts. I've always admired the vintage quilts I've found when browsing through  antiques stores. I decided to make my own version using vintage sheets and larger hexagon template.            

     Paper-piecing and hand sewing this quilt is going to be years in the making, especially since I want to make it queen size.    

            I love working on this and seeing the bright colors come together
