The ups and downs of sewing

So yesterday, I really wanted to sew something. I decided on a little top for my sister. I measured her, used one of her shirts as a guide. I sewed the body and the top part and measured it. The only thing is, I measured it before I ironed it. Very important. When she tried it on, it was skin tight! The agony!! I had to rip it all out:( Sitting there ripping out all my hard work. Luckily when I sewed it this time, it fit. (whew)
I added little strips of fabric on the side, so that it would fit her and she would have room to grow. I'll just let everyone else think its pretty detailing.

I think you did a wonderful job. Remember that our mistakes do make for good lessons on what not to do next time. Beautiful. And the blouse is pretty too!

Oh my goodness!! I love this! How did you come up with the pattern? It seriously looks professional! It is such a cute top! Um, I run either small or medium in shirts like this. Thanks! :)
